Impressions of Nature

White Rock Lake Wildlife
We've always lived near White Rock Lake and for me, it's been an oasis. I hope you will enjoy these paintings of wildlife inspired by the lake.  When you purchase one of these originals, prints or note cards, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the art work will be donated to the For the Love of the Lake organization. There was a time when White Rock Lake was dying from neglect. That's when a dedicated group of lake lovers formed with the purpose to save the lake by protecting the environment, preserving the history and cleaning the lake with organized volunteer Saturday Trash Pick Up Days.  For more information about FTLOTL go to www.whiterocklake.org  To purchase art work, go to Contact Me.

I photographed the mockingbird when I noticed him doing the broken wing act to keep me away from his nest that was in the prairie grass.
