A Word from the Instructor... I want my art classes to be an oasis in the lives of my students. Learning the basics of art should be fun and enjoyable.
My teaching style is to work one on one with each student. I help each student choose an appropriate project suitable for their level and pace.
Beginners are encouraged to gain a knowledge of basic drawing before starting painting classes. Students who demonstrate competence in basic drawing, may paint.
The class format will cover composition, design, line weight, volume, chiaroscuro blending from dark to light along with color theory.
Students must provide their own supplies listed below. I will; however, furnish supplies for special projects such as clay, pen & ink or paper mache, etc.
